Red Rose is always our go to spot for Chinese food because it's usually delicious. For the most part our main dishes were excellent as always. However, every appetizer in our order was cold. I had the biggest problem with the "vegetable dumplings". I was expecting thick, soft dough filled with chopped vegetables. However, they looked more like pot stickers filled with corn and green mush. They were so cold, and obviously had been sitting for a long time, because whenever I tried to take one out the thing would just shred because it was congealed to the rest in the container. The taste was horrible and I ended up throwing the whole container out (what a waste).
I'm hoping this was a fluke, but please consider different containers for your appetizers, especially if you anticipate delivery taking a bit longer (which I understand it can at times). Also, please consider revamping your vegetable dumplings so theyre actually dumplings .... or just call them pot stickers so I know not to order them.
