Medium spicy was too hot to eat. We have ordered medium spicy of these entrees many times before and the spice level was fine. We are concerned about how to order the spice level next time

I get so frustrated with this place. We always pickup in person. Food is pretty good but about half the time, there’s a long delay, and I end up waiting in person as much as 30-35 minutes.

Ordered at 5:30. At 6 they said “30 more minutes.” Food came out at 7:30. There is insufficient space for social distancing inside the small waiting area. Not coming back until after the pandemic.

Hot Pot Chen has done a great job transitioning into the touchless pick up. Their portions are VERY generous - generally when we order a meal from here, we end up having enough for three separate meals!

Our favorite place for Chinese food. Nice people and clean. The food is so fresh, veggies cut just for my meal. But the soups can be hit or miss.

While I'm usually wary of seafood in a town so far from the sea, I highly recommend any dish from Hot Pot Chen with scallops or lobster.

Considering how often I get take-out from here, it wouldn't be fair to give it three stars, but I really rate this 3 and a half. Their prices have recently gone up a bit, yet they still make the occasional error, like not including the sauce for the wonton chips (as happened on this last order). The food is good for the price.

Food quality not as good as Gourmet Garden. Hot & Sour Seafood Soup no longer has lobster, but they've added fake crab.

This place is okay. Most of the attraction is that it's pretty close to our house, although we've had some very good dishes in the past. The stuff in this order was okay, although we'll probably go back to our old favorites next time. The fortune cookies were really stale.

There was confusion over my online order: they didn't have a record of it when we went for the food! They found it and it was then put together. A 30 minute delay overall. The food was all as good as usual.
