I ordered my food at 4:20 p.m. . When I placed the order the estimated arrival time given was 5:25 p.m. . At 5:15 I received an update saying delivery was estimated to be 6:10 p.m. . When the driver did arrive, which was closer to 6:15, I opened my screen door to greet her and she was standing at the gate in front of my house. The notes on my delivery instructions are very, very clear It says "come through the gate and to the front door. No dogs will be outside It is safe to enter my yard. I've had hundreds of deliveries to my door" I said to the girl can you just come through the gate and bring it to me, I was on my porch. She said something which I didn't understand and as she did my food began to fall out of her hands. My pizza slid sideways and my soda hit the ground and she managed to hold on to the paper bag that my piece of cheesecake was in although it got slammed against the fence. I ran down the sidewalk to try to help her and all she said was sorry and still expected me to come out onto the sidewalk to pick up the food.
When I got the food in the house the first thing I noticed is that the pizza was beyond cold I mean it was cool to the touch. Obviously had been driving around a while. All the toppings on half of it had slid off because of it being dropped and I immediately noticed that the extra topping I paid $1.75 for was not included. I paid for meatballs and there were no meatballs on the pizza. The pizza was cold half the toppings were missing from sliding off and the meatballs I paid for weren't there. I didn't dare open the 2 L bottle of soda since it hit the ground. The cheesecake was pretty much smashed from being swung against my fence. I have no idea why the driver tried to take everything out of the car and pile it on top of each other the way she did but the result was not good. So the pizza was not made correctly, the meatballs were missing. The food was close to an hour past the time given, and the delivery person was just terrible. The cheesecake, which I did take a few bites of, had a very grainy texture and somewhat off-taste I don't know how to describe it better than that. Cheesecake is one of my favorite desserts and it should be velvety and smooth. This was very very grainy it had a texture throughout it that was very unappealing. All in all the order was very disappointing and I'm hoping to get my money back
