I've been going to China Star since they opened 20 years ago or there about. At that time I was one was greeted by Wendy and her incredible family. Her kids were being taken care of in China while they set-up the business. Later on they were building a new house in LaCombe and I was asked to look over the construction and the mortgage, etc. I felt honored. OK, that's their restaurant. Here's my advice. Don't order from the Lunch Special Menu ( L Menu)! The portions are too small in a Styrofoam compartmentalized (small) container. Order from the Combination Platter Menu (C Menu), it's 2 bucks more but twice the food. I like the 3rd set of people running it and it's great we have a local Chinese Restaurant. These folks are very nice and very family oriented, exactly what our country needs from immigrants. They learn English fast and they are very honest! Also, we've eaten almost everything on their menu and have always enjoyed their food! 5 Stars all the way!
