The meals we ordered were ok at best. Chicken Korma that is supposed to be aromatic source with almonds and raisins was a yogurt sauce. Paratha was tasteless and not fresh. Old rice & tasteless!

Its up the stairs from us... they have been there for at least 20 years... always consistent and yummy. Also the best Happy Hour in the neighborhood, 1 to 8 and beers at $4.00

Kismat is always reliable for take out or when you eat at the restaurant. Spices are delicate, dishes are varied, staff is kind. What a joy to have this restaurant in my new neighborhood.

there was a problem with the beef kori kebab. 2/3 of the chunks were inedible due to thick gristle or blobs of fat. This has never happened before.

I indicated in the space for special instructions that the online order {made at 5:45} was to be delivered anytime AFTER 6:45. Instead it came at 6:13, well ahead of my guests. I had to put everything into a 200 degree oven to keep it warm enough to still be fresh. The food was good, but not great because it had to sit around too long before it was served.

Papadam was broken into many small pieces, some of the sauces had spilled into the bag covering containers, overall the food was fine, Salmon Okra better than fine, more dishes like that special would be appreciated, especially vegetarian or fish based.
