Chicken lol mein was delicious. Also had crab sticks and fried shrimp which were perfectly cooked, but I'd recommend having them with something like cocktail sauce/ranch/ect. The staff is always friendly at this location and the store is clean.

Sweet and sour chicken & chicken lo mein were delicious. We also got an order of the Chinese donuts that were great! Our food was hot and ready for pickup when we got to the store. Great food as always...

Kung Pao Chicken was delicious. It was well seasoned and relatively spicy. I ordered it with chicken fried rice which was perfect. Golden China consistently makes great food- my favorite Chinese restaurant in Newport News.

Shrimp egg foo young had tons of shrimp and the shrimp fried rice was delicious! We also loved the pepper steak! A little over cooked foo young but still good!

The sweet and sour chicken is the best in Newport News. The sweet sauce is the best offered and the chicken is breaded to perfection. You could eat the chicken fried rice as a meal by itself. Normally wait approx. 15 minutes to pick-up on carryout.

Everything was great as usual. I just wish S5 offered brown rice as an option. I end up throwing out most of the white rice. Still, well worth the price. Great job Golden China.

The sweet & sour chicken with pork fried rice combination is one of my favorite dishes at Golden China. I think it is the best on the peninsula. Staff is friendly and have been reliable for making good meals over the years.
