People's is by far the all-around best place to get Indian food in Pittsburgh. I've only ever had incredible experiences ordering their food. It is always on time and the order has always been 100% correct, no matter how long and complicated!

I accidentally ordered pick-up when I thought I had chosen delivery. When I realized my error, the restaurant was almost closed and I wasn’t going to make it in time to pick up my food. The extremely kind and understanding owner (?) got on the phone and agreed to drop my food off himself. When I tried to add more of a tip, he refused. Such kindness is rare anymore and I really appreciate it!

So good! Did not realize all were tomato sauced.They were spiced as I like-3 on veggies, 4 on meat. Love the mango mousse , addictive!

The food was good but we had asked for it to be delivered at a certain time, and it showed up 20 minutes early, causing the delivery man to have to leave it on our porch. I love the spice!

There was no paneer in the Chana Paneer, not even one piece. Chana Paneer was written on the lid, so I know they knew that is what it was meant to be. Other than that, everything was great.

Delicious! Everything in my rather large order (for a group meal) was ready and packed to go when I arrived to pick it up. I especially recommend the Vegetable Pakora appetizer.

Delicious, as always. My family has been eating at People's for 20 years, and love it, whether we are grabbing lunch at the buffet, eating in the restaurant, or getting takeout.

When we arrived after what we thought was an appropriate amount of time for order pick up, it turned out that our order had been overlooked. We didn't have to wait long, and the food is always worth the wait, but it was an uncoordinated situation.

Love this place. Hate Beyond Menu. I thought I had ordered delivery, but it was pick up only. Only after going back to check did I realize that it did say pick up only. Maybe it should be a lot clearer or have a red color or something.
