Wasn't at all what I expected. I ordered the chicken and vegetable tempura lunch box with salmon, scallion, and avocado roll. Chicken was dry. Tempura was okay. The rice was regular parboiled white rice that I could make in my kitchen, taste & all. The sushi was subpar & didn't taste portioned for fish correctly. The food is edible and good for a rushed bite but I probably wouldn't order here again when I've had better.

The food was great but we asked for no soy sauce, chopsticks, utensils, napkins, etc. and that stuff was sent anyway...

The rice was very. very greasy, the Shumai were mushy and the Gyoza were almost empty . Very disappointing! Delivery man was very pleasant

Palace of Japan's lunch specials are some of the best deals in Riverdale. The food is consistently very good, the preparation is prompt, and the staff are friendly. Highly recommended.
