It was super easy and convenient to order Red Parrot online and pick-up from the restaurant, but there were a couple of food discrepancies. I had requested "no mushrooms" and "gluten-free" in the Yaki Udon, and alas, there were several mushrooms mixed in (which, thankfully, I caught in time) and I had a pretty severe reaction to the meal, which suggests they did not honor my gluten-free request. (I've visited RP several times and never had an issue with them accommodating my food allergies previously.) Furthermore, the mango in the Mango Sticky Rice was hard and unripened, and the sticky rice had a much different texture than I usually receive when ordering this item. Quite frankly, it wasn't sticky. I ended up giving the dessert to my dog. That made me sad. It should be noted the dog did not complain.
Usually, I'd give Red Parrot 4 or 5 stars, but reasonable requests due to food allergies shouldn't be *that* compromised.
