Food was nasty and cold, no tartar sauce for shrimp, and egg roll was wet and soggy because the cold soda was put on top of it which made the soda hot will not order from here again

A1 Oriental is the best Chinese food in New Haven. But this delivery guy got out the car and came to the porch smoking a cigarette and my bag smelled like he'd been smoking in the car while driving with the food.

My only negative is to ask for the food at least 10 minutes before you need it, as my driver got stuck in traffic last night. Otherwise the food was excellent. The one I did not give a thumbs up to was the Beef Teriyaki Steak - they were very tough.

This is the first time I did an online order from A-1 Oriental Kitchen. It was for a meeting with 15 people, so I was a little nervous at first. The food arrived exactly when I asked for it. It was superb. I didn't even realize a sauce was missing until just 5 minutes later the driver came back with it. I would definitely order from them again. I really recommend the fried dumplings.

Service was very fast. Food was piping hot as if I was eating it there. Egg rolls fried perfect. Oil was not old. Hot & sour soup was delicious. I crave it everyday.

Fantastic service, fast delivery and the restaurant called to confirm my order was correct after a typo on my part. They made the best pepper steak and onion I have ever eaten and the driver was extremely nice.

Love this place. I've been going there for take-out since they opened in the 90s. I've watched their kids grow up. Regular take-out food, nothing noteworthy, but fast and friendly service. Not too much onions in the fried rice.
