This place is usually really good. But this time I ordered chow mein and was really looking forward to some stir fried noodles. Instead what I got was a giant container of shredded cabbage and onions in juice and a container of rice. When I called to ask about it I felt like she was a little deceptive. She told me that's what chow mein is and that if I wanted noodles I should have ordered lo mein. I know lo mein is noodles but I'm about 99% sure chow mein is too. Also, their online menu says that chow mein is stir fried noodles. I was already upset but feeling lied to made it worse. :(

Delivery driver is rude and just sped off with my husbands soda.... Now we have to wait an additional 8 to 10 minutes. If you use this application pick up the food yourself.

Food took an hour, fried rice tasted burnt. Other than that it was alright. And the delivery guy gave me a free soda for some reason... but I'm going to stick with China King.

China House is my go-to Chinese restaurant in Hartford. It might not look like much, but the food is always excellent, my order's always correct, and the staff is always friendly. Try the donuts!
