I ordered a large amount of food. I wanted to substitute a large plain fried rice for some of the white rice. I called and was told that it was $6 extra. I expected a couple of dollars, but six? Ok. I went with it. Then I called back to complain about it and was greeted with a yes it is $6 by another person. I asked if we were still getting some white rice with the order and was told no. So, I ordered a small white rice for $1.50 more. When my order came, I paid the extra $7.50 to the driver. Opened my order and there were large containers of white rice that came with my order. So, although it wasn't a large sum of money, I paid for something I was already getting plenty of. To top it all off, there were no fortune cookies or sauces with my order. For $124.00 order you think they
1. Could have thrown in a fried rice for free
2. Would have made sure that we had fortune cookies.
I know other Chinese restaurants that would have thrown in some almond cookies with such a large order.
We used to love this place and have not ordered here often due to the price increase.
It was a special occasion and I wanted something good.
The only reason I will order from here in the future is because I have many coupons for free stuff that I didn't realize I still had.
The food is good, but the service is quite lacking.
