Comes with beef fried rice, soup and sticky rice dumpling. 'This style of cooking originated with northern nomadic tribes using 'a communal pot to stew meat and vegetables. It was popularized and broadened in Beijing during the Tang Dynasty. It now is popular with families and the ingredients used now include seafood and other items. It involves diners selecting various items and then dropping or dipping them into a flame-heated pot of boiling soup broth and retrieving them when cooked to the individuals taste. They are then dipped into a choice of sauces and consumed with great pleasure! Items for dipping include beef, lamb, shrimp, pork sausages, mushrooms, fungus, vegetables and other interesting items. At the end of the meal the broth can be consumed as a delicious soup.
