Prices have gone up and portions have gone down. In the restaurant, the food quality is great. Every time I order to go, it's just thrown together haphazardly. The quality is worse when ordering to go.

Typically I really enjoy the food from Sakuras but today's chicken yakitori was mostly overcooked and touched to eat the sushi fell apart because wasn't rolled correctly. The crab Rangoon was really good as was the beef and gyozas.

The fish was not very good (but also not the worst I've had). Salmon and Yellowtail were just okay, but the Tuna was pretty bad. Also, they didn't give me the exact roll that I ordered for one of my items. Not sure if I would eat here again or not.

I did not receive the sauces I asked for and I did not receive extra ginger with my sushi, nor did they prepare the sushi how I asked them to. And it was not busy when I came in, so I am not sure why this happened. Usually my order is spot on.

We have eaten here many times and almost always have a great experience. The staff is so friendly and attentive. My family loves to sit at the Hibachi table for special occasions but we more times than not get our food to go. Either way the food is maybe the best in Shawnee. We always get the Hibachi filet and it comes with so much food for the price. Great value and lots of fun!
