We love All India Cafe's (Pasadena) food and always order some for my birthday eachyear. It's a tradition! I think it's the most authentic Indian in our area and so delicious. I'm glad they have kept the same basic recipes for their main dishes over the years. Don't change a thing! We are a little addicted. My mother loves it too and we very much enjoyed the birthday dinner I ordered from them yesterday. It was ready on time. Everything was fresh, hot, and completely HEAVENLY. Our favorite vegetarian entree is the Mahkni Paneer -- it's to die for!!! The Veg. Combo for Two is a very good deal. We got the Mahkni Paneer, Palak Paneer, and Malai Kafta as our three entrees in that combo and they were all fabulous. Will order extra basmati rice next time (as we ran out of the portion that comes with the combo). The combo comes with veg. samosas (with mint sauce and tamarind chutney) -- just spicy enough. Also came with raita (cucumber and yogurt sauce) which is the best I've tasted (comparing it to other Indian restaurants around). Ordered the garlic naan as usual because it's our fave. Also got the Rasmalai as our dessert included in the combo and while the portion was quite small it was very tasty -- just sweet enough to satisfy us; very unique flavor -- you have to try it. Finally, we shared a mango lassi -- very rich and satisfying and a perfect cooling balance to the spices in the entrees. Everything was perfect and I found ordering through BeyondMenu.com quite easy. Will order this way in the future.
